ABOUT

I had the opportunity to be exposed to art from an early age. From the beginning one of my favorite artists was Joan Miro. I have always been drawn to colors and shapes. Forever having a core need to create, to play with color.

Over the years I have worked in a variety of mediums from jewelry, painting, stained glass, lamp worked and fused glass. Twenty years ago, I started quilting. My grandmother was a seamstress, who eventually owned her own garment factory. Having grown up around sewing, it was no surprise that I gravitated to
quilting. Over time I have developed my skills and found my happy place, creating quilts with bold fabrics and modern designs.

 

For me, each quilt is a hug that I am giving to the recipient.
